Legerton Architecture was founded
in 1994 with a two-fold purpose: to deliver valuable architectural
& planning services to clients and to make significant contributions
to the quality of life in local and regional communities in Western
North Carolina.
In seventeen years of business, Legerton Architecture
has provided services to over 350 clients. John Legerton, AIA,
LEED, AP, Principal, has over 35 years of providing professional architectural
design and planning services for a wide variety of clients. John
has a strong interest in Green Design and environmentally sound
architectural practices.
Legerton Architecture specializes in the design
of individual residences (new homes, renovations and additions)
and small commercial projects. Our work has also included designs
for multi-family residential developments, churches, non-profit
organizations, as well as educational, historic preservation and
community design projects. Sustainable and energy efficient design
is integrated into all of our projects. Our mission is to:

set of clients define their needs, goals and priorities;
- create aesthetically and historically sensitive,
sustainable design;
- improve communities and contribute to local
and regional quality of life.
